Referrers

Anyone can refer a family to Home-Start Dacorum, including themselves. However,we can only accept referrals where families have at least one child under five, and live within the local authority area of Dacorum. Please look at our map for more detailed location details. Referrals can only be accepted with the consent of the family.

Self-Referral

You can self-refer to us at Home-Start Dacorum by using the Referral Form which you can download here. Please complete as much information as possible, and highlight SELF in the 'referred by' section.

Agency Referral

If you work for an agency and are interested in referring a family to Home-Start Dacorum for support, we suggest that after ensuring that the family lives within the area covered by Home-Start Dacorum (check our map) you:

• Ask the family's permission for you to contact Home-Start Dacorum.
• Complete a referral form, giving details of the family's situation. Please contact us if you would like a referral form sent either by post or by email on admin@homestartdacorum.org.uk.

Family/Friend Referral

Are you a parent or a friend/relative of a parent who is experiencing a stressful time and in need of support from Home-Start Dacorum? If so, please ring 01442 254499 or email us for further information on making a referral.

Additional support

Home-Start Dacorum currently facilitates two family groups which run weekly. These are based in Gadebridge Community Centre and St. Benedicts Church Hall in Bennett's End. Please click here for more information. These groups are only for familes who are formally referred to Home-Start and are not a drop-in facility.
