August 2006

The Hemel Hempstead Gazette has named Home-Start Dacorum 'Team of the Year' in its 2006 Business Awards. For details please see

Board changes

November 2006

We said farewell to our retiring Chair, Christine Prendergast, and welcomed her successor, Robert Bunn, at a dinner at Eat Fish. Christine has been involved with Home-Start Dacorum for 21 years as a volunteer , an organiser and fund-raiser and she is continuing in that latter role. Her support for the management team over the last 3 years will be greatly missed. Robert brings a wealth of business experience which is so necessary these days in the voluntary sector. Robert and Christine successfully managed our incoporation as a company limited by guarantee in November. We also say farewell to Nick Hexter and Teresa Martin as Directors and welcome Georgina Tregoning, who will take over from Robert as Teasurer, and Adrian Whyle, as new Board members.
